What Is a Mammogram?
A mammogram is an X-ray of the breast used to:

When Should You Get a Mammogram?
- Ages 40-49: Talk with your doctor about when to begin screening.
- Ages 50-74: Recommended every 1-2 years.
- High-risk individuals: May need to start earlier and have more frequent screenings.
